Steve Thompson, born in Saskatoon in 1955, graduated Mechanical Engineering Technology in 1975.  Steve’s first experience with pumps was in an Engineering office of Ebara designing pump systems and related accessories.  Once hooked on the industry Steve worked for various “Engineered Supply Houses” (J. R. Stephenson and H. F. Clarke) prior to starting up his own rep agency in the mid 1980’s.  From 1993 to 2004 Steve was a District Sales Manager for a large pump manufacturer and in the spring of 2004, became the Vice President of Technical and Training Services for WILO North America.
 
Steve’s responsibility with WILO is work with various WILO Product Development engineering teams to develop high quality WILO pumps for the North American marketplace as well as build and present the latest training ideals available to date.
